Löffler supports and promotes moving ideas! We subscribe to the concept of corporate social responsibility and support and sponsor projects which express our commitment to movement, health, good design and craftsmanship.

Current Projects:

Löffler is the sponsor of the Ernst A. Plischke Award, bestowed on October 21, 2011. The award winner in 2011 is the architect Aleš Vodopivec for the Srebrniče cemetery grounds in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. The Ernst A. Plischke Award honours architects whose buildings embody sustainable architecture aesthetics and the human nature.

The Deutsche Hirtenmuseum in Hersbruck is the only museum in Germany solely dedicated to the profession of shepherding. It is housed in a group of timber-framed listed buildings in the middle of Hersbruck's historic city centre. Clothing, tools and artisanry crafted by shepherds from all over the world offer insights into one of the world's oldest professions.

Towering on a massive, precipitous mountain of dolomite rock, Burg Hohenstein sits high above the Franconian/Upper Palatinate Jura mountain range. At 634 m above sea level, Hohenstein is Central Franconia's highest inhabited point.

The sports club TSV Lauf e.V. has more than 1,600 members. In their 100 year history they have, where possible, managed to successfully maintain and extend the wide range of sports which can be enjoyed locally.

The Musik- und Tanzverein music and theatrical society, founded in 1998, offers those interested in performing many different opportunities, at various skill and qualification levels, for making music and acting.
