Ergonomics

The intervertebral discs of babies are still connected to the blood circulation supply system. As soon as children learn to stand up straight and walk at the age of approximately one year, the "connector plug" is pulled out and the blood vessels die off. The intervertebral discs are then supplied through the exchange of fluids and fed through movement in a "sponge principle".

Movement is therefore essential for a healthy back. The ergonomic seating concept by LÖFFLER promotes movement while sitting – and therefore supports the fluid exchange in the intervertebral discs. It is easier to adopt a straight posture which is gentle on the spine than when sitting in a normal office chair.

Back School

Sitting correctly has to be practised!

Back problems through sitting primarily result from the fact that people do not perceive incorrect load distribution on the intervertebral discs when sitting slumped as incorrect or uncomfortable.

We will show you how to sit ergonomically correctly in the following brochure. You can download it free of charge!
