A knopfler at the Christmas Party

back:

Two hundred and fifty guests attended the Christmas party at our dealer Brockerhof in the Ofenwerk in Nuremberg. The Ofenwerk is a centre for classic cars in which "Youngtimers" and "Oldtimers" are on display. In keeping with the classical atmosphere, Brockerhof presented exhibits from the Löffler Collection.

Six different models were on display, from the roomy cantilever chair to the delicate "Damenstocksessel" (a three-legged, ladies' walking stick with a small platform for use as a stool or table) from 1885. The different exhibits give a general idea of the range of the Löffler Collection which consists of more than 700 exhibits.

Helmut Klarner, the curator and conservator of the Löffler Collection was pleased at the interest of the guests. "I had the opportunity of explaining the name and functions of the 'Damenstocksessel' which combines first-class workmanship and imagination," he said.

Mark Böhm, managing director at Brockerhof said, "We are grateful to Löffler as a reliable partner and look forward to presenting exhibits from the Löffler Collection. It will provide a great background for our Christmas party." Peter Brockerhof provided the guests with a musical backdrop of songs during the evening accompanied by the Dé-jà-vu Trio with clarinet, accordion and bass, which made for a musical fireworks.

The special highlight of the Christmas party was the prize-giving, with the main prize being a knopfler by Löffler! The lucky winner is Ms Patutschnik from Medika company in Hessdorf. Congratulations!
